About The Position

Right Side Capital Management is a San Francisco-based Venture Capital firm. We have an AUM of $250M+ across 8 funds and are poised for significant growth. We're looking for an exceptional relationship builder with a strong sales background and venture capital experience to join our team and lead fundraising efforts. This individual will be responsible for developing new LP relationships, raising capital across our funds, managing existing LP relationships, and helping create a superior experience across every touchpoint for our limited partners. You will report directly to one of the three founders / Managing Directors and will have a significant impact on our organization as we expand. This position will be a combination of in-office (San Francisco) and remote. Compensation: The anticipated salary range is between $175,000 - $250,000, depending on experience and skills, plus bonus. Compensation will also include a generous carry-fee-sharing program, as well as health, dental, and vision benefits, and a 401(k) company-matching program.

Requirements

  • 5 - 10+ years’ experience raising capital from institutional investors, family offices, & HNW investors for venture funds.
  • Must have a quantifiable track record of converting prospects into limited partners.
  • A deep knowledge and understanding of the VC / startup ecosystem, including how startup accelerators work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely & report to the Managing Director in charge of fundraising, marketing, and investor relations
  • Develop new potential LP relationships
  • Raise capital across our funds
  • Bring creative and innovative ideas to the fundraising process and LP experience
  • Maintain and enhance existing LP relationships
  • Manage the full fundraising cycle: mapping the universe of prospects, sourcing and nurturing relationships, leading outreach, and coordinating diligence through to close
  • Prepare and customize fundraising materials (presentations, data room content, DDQs, track record, and portfolio analyses) in support of capital raising efforts
  • Represent RSCM at LP meetings, conferences, and industry events, serving as a credible, front-line fundraiser for the firm
  • Travel, primarily domestic, will be necessary
