Antler is where founders come to go further, faster . Antler is the world’s most active early-stage investor, backing exceptional people at the very start of their journey — and supporting them from inception to scale. Across 27 cities worldwide—including New York, San Francisco, London, Berlin, Bangalore, Singapore, Seoul, and Sydney—the firm helps founders remove the barriers to building by connecting them with world-class peers, validating business models, and providing initial capital. For founders who go on to build breakout companies, Antler Elevate—the firm’s flagship, emerging growth fund—invests beyond the early stages. To date, Antler has backed more than 1,900 startups globally across a wide range of industries and technologies with the goal of backing more than 6,400 by 2030. Antler runs a highly structured and thorough due diligence process to assess early-stage opportunities at scale. Through Antler’s structured investment approach, Antler gains a deep understanding of their strengths, scale of ambition, grit, and passion. A global network of advisors and domain experts helps further validate their business models, giving unique insights into founders’ potential. Antler is backed by institutional investors, including asset managers, life insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, wealth managers, alongside unicorn founders and family offices. The board is co-chaired by Sheila Patel , former Chairman of Goldman Sachs Asset Management, and Tore Myrholt , former EMEA Chair of McKinsey, and the advisory board includes James Anderson , Chairman of Kinnevik and former co-manager of the Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust at Baillie Gifford; Peter Harrison , former CEO of Schroders; Ken Hitchner , former Chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs APAC; Nancy Zimmerman , Co-founder and Managing Partner of Bracebridge Capital; David Fischer , former Chief Revenue Officer at Facebook; Todd Ruppert , former CEO of T. Rowe Price Intl and former Y Combinator Partner and serial entrepreneur Aaron Harris. North America is a critical growth market for Antler, both as a source of world-class founders and as a key LP fundraising geography. The firm is now investing meaningfully in its North American capital formation capabilities to match the scale of its global ambition. This is a foundational hire and pivotal moment for Antler in North America. We are looking for a Head of Capital Formation to own and scale fundraising across the region - leading institutional capital raising while helping shape the next phase of Antler’s platform. This is not a stewardship role; it is a build role. You will lead fundraising across institutional LPs, family offices, and strategic investors, driving commitments into Antler’s global fund platform. At its core, this is a senior sales leadership position - combining relationship depth, execution intensity, and meaningful strategic ownership. You will be Antler’s most senior capital markets leader in North America, partnering directly with our global Managing Partners to set and execute regional fundraising strategy, open new investor channels, and convert momentum into closed capital. This role will suit someone coming from a senior capital formation or distribution background within asset management who is excited to trade infrastructure for impact. You won’t inherit a large team, a polished machine, or layers of support - you will help build them. Expect to be deeply in the work: originating, pitching, travelling lean, and closing. You will build and lead a small, high-performing capital team, setting the tone for a culture defined by ownership, rigour, performance and accountability. The right candidate brings: an established North American institutional LP network a track record of closing complex fund commitments and the entrepreneurial mindset to operate at senior level without corporate scaffolding
