Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business or S.T.E.M. field with a minimum of 7-10 years relevant experience.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of applicable standards, methods, processes and practices, business fundamentals, and performance metrics in the specific functional area supported by this position (e.g., electric or gas operations, customer service, transmission and substation, distribution system operations, regulatory and external affairs).
  • Advanced proficiency in standard software applications (e.g., Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, & PowerPoint), and relevant specialized business applications (e.g., project portfolio management, requirements/test management, CIS/CRM, customer self-service, telephony, EPS, EAM, work management, & outage management) to support business needs.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to create value with advanced problem solving, financial/analytical, performance management, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a cross-functional team.
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus, establish trust, meet critical deadlines, communicate effectively, and foster culture change.
  • Customer driven with demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact with people of all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process enhancements and efficiencies including new technology.
  • In lieu of degree, 9-12 years of relevant experience.

  • Advanced knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of project management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of the ComEd Transmission Corrective Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance program and/or business initiatives.
  • Provide requirements analysis, performance measurement, and quality assurance during KPI discussions.
  • Manage scope, schedule, and budget of the Transmission Corrective Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance program.
  • Coordinate and report on process project initiative assignments.
  • Develop key performance indicators and tracking mechanisms to monitor and report results.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze reports, controls, and other financial & operational information on the ComEd Distribution Underground Locating program.
  • Coordinate work plans to implement corrective actions identified as a result of performance assessment.
  • Lead the establishment of business plans and objectives across multiple areas/departments, including Damage Prevention, Engineering, Operations, Regulatory, and P&CM.
  • Lead change management activities for the ComEd Transmission Corrective Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance program.
  • Lead process improvement task forces.
  • Provide benchmarking analysis and status reports to leadership as required.
  • Understand business processes and provide guidance for end users.
  • Provide day-to-day client support and conduct diagnostics as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist and advise other personnel with responses to internal and external inquiries.
  • Direct development and lead teams on strategic business initiatives, projects, and programs.
  • Manage and report on process/project/initiative assignments.
  • Oversee, prepare, review, and analyze reports and controls for strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Oversee the establishment of business plans and objectives across multiple areas / departments.
  • Lead stakeholders in the development of business cases and prioritization of deliverables.
  • Develop and implement training of employees and external personnel for new processes and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective business readiness procedures.
  • Drive the integration of best practices within the organization.
  • Investigate best practices through benchmarking, and develop and execute work plans to support the integration of the functions and best practices identified.
  • Maintain on-going interface with various Exelon organizations regarding the execution of business processes, strategic initiatives, and management model.
  • Regularly serve as lead for cross-functional and cross company teams responsible for the integration of best practices through the organization.
  • Develops performance indicators and tracking mechanisms to monitor results.

  • Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $114,400.00/Yr. – $157,300.00/Yr.
