Requirements

8+ years of experience in a strategic Business Analyst role on large-scale IT projects, with at least 4+ years focused on P&C Billing and insurance billing systems.
Strong Property & Casualty insurance domain knowledge, including billing, payments, fees, refunds, dunning/collections, and related regulations across states/jurisdictions.
Proven ability to elicit, analyze, and document requirements (user stories, use cases, process flows, functional specs) and translate them into practical solution designs.
Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills; comfortable working with both business and technical audiences.
Hands-on experience working in Agile / SAFe environments, including backlog management, estimation, and collaboration with distributed/global teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality, traceability, and on-time delivery.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

Nice To Haves

Experience with Majesco Billing or other enterprise insurance billing platforms is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Lead requirements discovery, analysis, and documentation for P&C billing processes, rules, products, and integrations.
Review client documentation and current-state processes, clearly identifying impacts, risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
Configure the billing system to fit client requirements and recommend solutions that maximize use of standard product capabilities while minimizing customization.
Perform gap analysis for new requirements, support scope definition/estimation, and clarify questions for global delivery and product teams.
Collaborate with product, configuration, technical, and client stakeholders to design and validate the end-to-end billing solution, including batch jobs, outputs, and interfaces.
Maintain requirements traceability from business needs through design, configuration, and testing, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
Define and/or review test scenarios, test cases, and test plans; support SIT/UAT, defect triage, and regression testing to confirm business needs are met.
Act as a functional SME and Product Owner, providing backlog input, accepting stories, and delivering training and knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams.
Support cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization activities for the billing workstream as needed.
Collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams and client stakeholders across time zones, adjusting work hours as needed to support workshops, clarifications, and project ceremonies.
