About The Position

Capital One is building a best in class marketing platform and we are seeking a project manager to create a positive change experience for our messaging operations teams. As Principal Associate on the Operational Readiness & Enablement team, your core mission is to connect operational strategy, people, and execution to turn complex changes into clear, usable ways of working that teams can successfully adopt and sustain over time. This is a critical role supporting the creation and implementation of change management through communication, training, and operational strategies that focus on marketing processes, operations systems, and technology utilization. You will act as the bridge between strategic operational changes and the teams executing them. By combining products, processes, and tools, you will design seamless operational experiences and deliver the training, communication, and alignment necessary for successful implementation and long-term adoption.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
At least 4 years Project or Process Management experience
At least 4 years of experience in communications, public relations, or marketing as a discipline
At least 4 years of experience developing and facilitating training programs

Nice To Haves

Masters / MBA degree
Lean, Six Sigma, or BPM certifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging documentation
Understanding of change management principles and methodologies
Proficiency in project management or work management software
Strong problem solving and influencing skills
Risk Management experience

Responsibilities

Lead the design, optimization and governance of operational workflows, translating enterprise priorities into scalable processes and practical operating models
Partner with cross-functional partners such as business leaders, product teams and engineering partners to operationalize strategic priorities, resolve process dependencies and drive alignment across impacted teams
Establish process standards, documentation frameworks and governance practices that improve consistency, efficiency and operational readiness
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement through stakeholder feedback, operational metrics and evolving business needs
Lead enablement and change adoption strategies for assigned programs, ensuring teams are prepared to successfully adopt new processes, tools and ways of working
Develop readiness plans that align stakeholder engagement, communications, training and launch activities to support successful implementation.
Define success measures, adoption indicators and operational readiness metrics to evaluate effectiveness and inform continuous improvement
Facilitate feedback loops, lessons learned sessions and stakeholder engagement activities to identify opportunities for optimization and long-term adoption
Serve as a strategic thought partner to business partners and leader, proactively identifying adoption risks, readiness gaps and mitigation strategies
Develop communication and learning strategies that support operational changes, adoption goals and stakeholder needs.
Design and oversee enablement materials, including training content, job aids, presentations, resource hubs and communications.
Partner with SMEs and process owners to ensure content is accurate, relevant and aligned with business objectives.
Deliver and continuously improve learning experiences based on stakeholder feedback, adoption metrics and evolving business needs.
