About The Position

The Principal Architect, Platform Infrastructure is a senior technical leader responsible for guiding how the company builds and operates its cloud and technology systems. The role focuses on ensuring systems are secure, well managed, and cost-effective, enabling platform and application teams to work effectively. It spans cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and site reliability, with a major focus on leading the company’s migration to AWS and establishing standard patterns for Platform Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). The position partners closely with the leaders of those teams and manages the DevOps and Infrastructure team, with accountability for its results. The role sets the direction, standards, and roadmap for infrastructure and DevOps. It does not design applications or manage application-team delivery. The position is expected to make decisions independently within company guidelines and to serve as a technical partner to senior engineering, architecture, and security leaders. The anticipated annual salary range is $151,600–$252,600, depending on relevant factors including experience and geographic location. The role is also anticipated to be eligible for an annual bonus and long-term incentive plan. If working from home occasionally or permanently, an internet connection through cable broadband or fiber optic service with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload is required.
