Principal Analytic Developer 4 (TS/SCI + Poly)
About The Position
Aperio Global is seeking a Principal Analytic Developer to support the Access Discovery & Tradecraft mission. This role offers the opportunity to join a highly collaborative team responsible for enhancing a mission-critical application used daily by intelligence analysts. You'll work directly with end users, rapidly implementing new capabilities and improvements that have an immediate operational impact. Join Aperio Global and help build mission-critical software that enables intelligence analysts to discover, analyze, and act on information faster—delivering real-world impact through modern software engineering. As a full-stack developer, you'll help design, build, and maintain modern applications while contributing across the entire software development lifecycle—from user interface development to backend services and data management.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and implementing full-stack software solutions
- Strong software engineering experience supporting enterprise or mission applications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Ability to work onsite in Fort Meade, MD
- Full-stack application development
- Strong Java and/or Kotlin development experience
- JavaScript or TypeScript
- MongoDB
- Elasticsearch
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks, including: Angular, React, Vue, Ember

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain mission-critical full-stack applications
- Collaborate directly with intelligence analysts to rapidly develop and deliver new capabilities
- Enhance and maintain a widely used operational application supporting mission workflows
- Develop responsive user interfaces and scalable backend services
- Build and integrate RESTful services with enterprise data sources
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Participate in Agile software development and continuous delivery efforts
- Troubleshoot, enhance, and modernize existing application capabilities
