About The Position

Aperio Global is seeking an Application Developer to support our Eurasia & Western Hemisphere Mission. In this role, you'll work alongside mission stakeholders, data scientists, and intelligence analysts to design, develop, and deploy mission-focused applications that transform complex data into actionable operational capabilities. You'll build secure, cloud-based solutions that directly enhance analyst workflows by integrating modern application development, data visualization, APIs, and automation into mission-critical environments.

Requirements

• Experience developing applications that directly support operational users
• Ability to translate mission requirements into secure, scalable software solutions
• Experience working in cloud environments and customer mission data repositories
• Python

• RESTful API development
• CI/CD pipelines
• Git repositories
• Elasticsearch
• Experience with customer corporate tools including: XKS, Mission Data Repositories, GM, LABBENCH, PRESSUREWAVE
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Ability to work onsite in Fort Meade, MD
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Experience developing secure, end-to-end applications in mission environments

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications supporting intelligence mission workflows
• Build intuitive user interfaces integrated with scalable back-end services
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs
• Create data visualization capabilities that improve analyst decision-making
• Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
• Develop solutions within cloud environments and customer-specific data repositories
• Collaborate with analysts and mission stakeholders to gather requirements and rapidly deliver operational capabilities
• Integrate enterprise data sources into user-facing applications while maintaining security and performance
