About This Role: As an experienced integrated media strategy practitioner, you will be a leading voice on paid, owned, and earned media, with a strong emphasis on social media, creator marketing, and emerging channels. You bring bold, defensible points of view on how media platforms and channels are evolving — and what that evolution means for CMOs, brand leaders, and social and creator technology vendors. Your insatiable curiosity keeps you on top of breaking developments and key trends across the B2C media landscape, shaping your research, analysis, writing, and published content. Our ideal candidate has a confident, authoritative voice and is comfortable speaking with the press, delivering keynote presentations, and advising senior B2C marketing executives. You are motivated by helping Forrester clients tackle their most important marketing initiatives, guiding them with clear thought leadership on social and creator strategy, emerging media trends, and modern communications planning.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in a senior-level media/social media strategy role at an agency, brand, publisher, or tech company.
  • Experience with and curiosity about the impact of AI within the media landscape.
  • An established industry presence as an influential speaker and thinker.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
  • The ability to balance the bold and conceptual with the practical and actionable.
  • A profound spirit of collaboration as part of a supportive, integrated team.
  • The ability to travel more than 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Market Perspective On The Media Landscape
  • Advise CMOs And Brand Leaders On Media, Comms, And Creator Strategy
  • Evaluate Social And Creator Technologies And Partner With Vendors
  • IP creation: Own and evolve an integrated research and content portfolio that delivers clear, defensible points of view through original research and published insights.
  • Client engagement: Guide CMOs and other senior marketing leaders using Forrester research, frameworks, and judgment through various types of client engagements.
  • Events and sales support: Build Forrester’s market presence by presenting at events, speaking with the press, and partnering with sales and analyst relations.
