About The Position

Wonderful College Prep Academy is seeking a Primary School Elective Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role is crucial in fostering a nurturing, engaging, and community-centered school environment that develops a strong and well-rounded academic foundation for students. The Academy is committed to providing a world-class education, preparing students for college and future careers. This position will involve creating powerfully engaging experiences aligned with the academic model to accelerate student learning and achievement, developing and implementing lessons to teach skills required in the subject area, and engaging in individual student case management through data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will be committed to continuous growth, actively participate in professional development, and contribute to the professional learning community. Additionally, the role requires regular communication with families and attendance at key community events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, required.
• Commitment to our organization's mission and educational philosophy.
• Entrepreneurial spirit capable of managing many complex tasks with competing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written.
• Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university, preferred.
• Current California Teaching Credential.
• Classroom teaching experience, preferred.
