About The Position

Montessori School of Silicon Valley (MSOSV) is seeking a caring, motivated educator who wants more than another teaching position. This is an opportunity to develop your Montessori practice, receive meaningful mentorship, and prepare to lead your own Primary classroom. Requirements

  • At least 12 Early Childhood Education units, or a willingness to complete them
  • A genuine interest in Montessori education
  • A desire to pursue Montessori Primary certification
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • A positive, dependable, and professional approach
  • Patience and a passion for helping children become independent learners

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with children ages 3–6
  • Montessori experience is welcomed but not required. If you are committed to early childhood education and excited to learn, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Help maintain a peaceful, beautiful, and engaging Montessori environment
  • Support children as they develop independence, confidence, and concentration
  • Guide children through respectful interactions and grace and courtesy
  • Observe and document each child’s development
  • Communicate professionally with families, colleagues, and school leadership
  • Partner closely with an experienced Head of School as you strengthen your Montessori practice
  • Gradually take on additional leadership responsibilities in preparation for leading your own classroom
