The Primary Operator is responsible for maintaining efficient line flow and addressing minor stoppages within their role scope. This includes completing required documentation for pre-operational checks, sanitation for assigned fillers, and in-process/interdictive inspections throughout the shift. The role also involves repackaging discards and damaged product, demonstrating working knowledge of basic hand tools and equipment components, and performing various maintenance tasks such as clip and/or clip rubber replacements, tray spring and roller inspections, output station hook replacements, general air and water leak repairs, E-Stop light bulb replacements, lifter pad replacements, and guard fastener replacements. Additionally, the operator is responsible for the housekeeping of the entire department area, following all GMPs, supporting KHMS, and performing sanitation responsibilities as needed. Other duties may be assigned or required.
