Primary On-Call Registered Nurse | Home Health & Hospice
About The Position
CentraCare is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Primary On-Call Registered Nurse to join our Home Health and Hospice team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for triaging incoming calls, assessing patient needs, making and delegating visits to provide appropriate care and documenting your findings with attention to detail. This position will have considerable autonomy, utilizing independent judgment to make sound decisions during scheduled on-call hours. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care in response to urgent needs.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card
- Reliable transportation with a valid Minnesota driver’s license, a driving record in good standing and insurance liability coverage meeting CentraCare's standards
- Minimum of two years’ experience in an acute care setting
- At least one year of experience as a registered nurse
