About The Position

Compassus is seeking a Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse to provide essential patient care during after-hours and weekend periods. This role is crucial in enabling patients to spend quality time with loved ones and engage in enjoyable activities. The nurse will build trusting, compassionate relationships with patients and families, empower caregivers through education, and help maintain the patient's maximum level of comfort and coping during emergencies.

Requirements

• RN license in the state you work
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse, hospice experience preferred
• Current driver’s license
• Current CPR and BCLS certification
• Flexibility to meet agency-staffing needs, with typical schedules including weekends only, weeknights only, or seven days on, seven days off

• Provide hospice patient care after-hours and weekends, as needs arise for our patients
