About The Position

Mount Laurel Animal Hospital is hiring a mobile Primary Care Veterinarian to provide compassionate veterinary care in clients’ homes. More than 75% of the role will be spent seeing patients at home, with the remainder supporting in-hospital Primary Care. The position is per diem and pays the greater of a per-shift base totaling $125,000–$175,000, depending on experience, or 25% individual production. The veterinarian will work with a dedicated mobile veterinary technician and the hospital’s Primary Care team, coordinating follow-up and referrals. Mount Laurel Animal Hospital is privately owned, has served its community since 1976, and includes a 25,000-square-foot, 24/7 emergency, specialty, and primary care hospital equipped with 64-slice CT, 1.5T MRI, and fluoroscopy. Requirements

DVM or VMD degree.
Active New Jersey veterinary license.
Current DEA registration.
At least one year of small-animal clinical practice experience.
Confidence working independently, with strong organizational and communication skills.
Comfort driving within the service area and working in varied home environments.

Nice To Haves

Experience in mobile medicine or in-home euthanasia.

Responsibilities

Perform in-home examinations, diagnostics, treatment planning, preventive care, and procedures appropriate for mobile care.
Provide quality-of-life guidance and compassionate in-home euthanasia when appropriate.
Clearly communicate findings, options, prognosis, and costs to families.
Partner with a dedicated mobile veterinary technician and the hospital’s Primary Care team on follow-up and referrals.
Provide support to in-hospital Primary Care as part of the role.
