Primary Care Team Registered Nurse (RN) - Seaport Community Health Center
About The Position
PCHC is seeking an RN to join their Primary Care Team at the Seaport Community Health Center. This role is embedded within the clinic, working collaboratively with providers and care teams to deliver patient-centered care. It is a dayside position with no nights or weekends, offering a balance between meaningful work and personal life. The RN will practice at the top of their license in an innovative care model focused on improving access, removing barriers, and creating a seamless patient experience. This is a full-time position with a Tuesday-Friday, (4) 10-hr shifts schedule. A $3,000 sign-on/retention bonus is offered for externally hired candidates.
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Nurse with unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Maine, or the ability to achieve licensure in the State of Maine within a year of date of hire.
- Having a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and/or an appropriate length of driving experience for insurance purposes is required.
- Will have up-to-date training and certification in Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Health & Safety Institute. Must obtain within 2 weeks if not current at hire.
Nice To Haves
- At least 3 years’ nursing experience in inpatient, home health or hospice, and/or primary care practice experience preferred.
- Previous experience working within a large, complex, multi-stakeholder environment preferred.
