Primary Care Team Registered Nurse (RN) - Seaport Community Health Center
About The Position
PCHC's Primary Care Team RNs are embedded directly within the clinic, collaborating closely with providers and care teams to deliver connected, patient-centered care. This role offers a dayside schedule with no nights or weekends, promoting a healthy work-life balance. RNs will practice at the top of their license within an innovative care model focused on enhancing patient access, removing barriers, and ensuring a seamless patient experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is driven to make a significant impact daily. A $3,000 sign-on/retention bonus is available for externally hired candidates.
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Maine, or the ability to achieve licensure in the State of Maine within a year of date of hire.
- Up-to-date training and certification in Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Health & Safety Institute. Must obtain within 2 weeks if not current at hire.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and/or an appropriate length of driving experience for insurance purposes is required.
Nice To Haves
- At least 3 years’ nursing experience in inpatient, home health or hospice, and/or primary care practice experience preferred.
- Previous experience working within a large, complex, multi-stakeholder environment preferred.
