About The Position

PCHC is seeking a Primary Care Team Registered Nurse (RN) for Brewer Medical Center. This is a dayside role with nights and weekends off, offering a balance between meaningful work and personal life. The RN will practice at the top of their license in an innovative care model focused on improving access, removing barriers, and creating a seamless patient experience. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment and wants to make a real impact every day. PCHC is a nationally recognized non-profit organization and a Federally Qualified Health Center offering integrated services.

Requirements

  • Must be a Registered Nurse with unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Maine, or the ability to achieve licensure in the State of Maine within a year of date of hire.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and/or an appropriate length of driving experience for insurance purposes is required.
  • Up-to-date training and certification in Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Health & Safety Institute. Must obtain within 2 weeks if not current at hire.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 3 years’ nursing experience in inpatient, home health or hospice, and/or primary care practice experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working within a large, complex, multi-stakeholder environment preferred.
