About The Position

One Medical is seeking a Primary Care Physician for its outpatient Senior Health practice at the Pineville Office in Charlotte, North Carolina. The position provides comprehensive primary care to a geriatric patient population in a value-based, relationship-based care model, with smaller patient panels and team support. Physicians work closely with Medical Directors and care teams in care delivery and ongoing practice innovation, using coaching, integrated behavioral health, and a proprietary electronic health record to support individual patients and improve population outcomes. The role includes weekly protected time for team building and discussion of challenging cases, and requires willingness to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for virtual primary care in other states. The role is based on a full-time schedule, with a stated base salary range of $240,900 to $288,000. Starting pay may vary based on practice experience and patient care schedule, and additional pay may be available for candidates exceeding the stated qualifications and requirements.

Requirements

At least 2 years of primary care experience.
Currently licensed in North Carolina or able to obtain North Carolina licensure.
Ability to build successful relationships with team members and communicate effectively one-on-one and in groups.
Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, mission-driven organization focused on using data to improve patient outcomes.
Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care in an outpatient setting.
Partner with the care team and use coaching and integrated behavioral health models to engage geriatric patients in care and support behavior change.
Use the proprietary Electronic Health Record to plan care for individual patients and maximize impact across the patient population.
Work closely with Medical Directors in care delivery and ongoing practice innovation.
Participate in weekly protected provider time for team building and shared discussion of challenging cases.
Obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states, as needed.
