About The Position

The Primary Care Physician will provide services to the surrounding CBOC facilities. This role involves conducting comprehensive medical assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing ongoing primary healthcare. The physician will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, counsel patients on health and wellness, maintain accurate medical records, and participate in on-call rotations. Continuous learning and staying current with medical advancements are essential.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Must be ABIM or ABFM certified.
• State medical license and DEA registration.
• Minimum of twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last thirty-six (36) months performing services similar in scope to those defined herein, in a public or private institution.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments of patients to establish diagnoses.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in line with the best medical practices.
• Provide ongoing primary healthcare to patients, including physical examinations, health screenings, and immunizations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Counsel and educate patients on health and wellness, including lifestyle modifications and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient information.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Keep current with medical advancements, best practices, and continuing medical education.
