About The Position

Colorado Physician Partners, PLLC is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join their clinic in Aurora, Colorado. This is one of 12 clinics in an independent private practice within the Aurora area, and a member of the independent practice association (IPA), PHPprime. PHPprime offers services such as care coordination, practice transformation coaching, risk adjustment coding education, population health management, data and analytics, specialist network management, and large group contracting. The clinics are independent, outpatient private practices in the Denver area, staffed by Providers, support staff, a social worker, an RN/patient educator (care coordinators), and often mental health support. The practice is part of the largest IPA in Colorado, and physicians hold clinical faculty appointments with the University of Colorado, teaching CU Medical students and Regis APP students. They are recognized for their expertise with complex patients and have achieved maximum scores/bonuses with CPC+. The practices are conveniently located in desirable zip codes with good payer mix. Relocation assistance is available for interested candidates.

Requirements

  • Board eligible/board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • Supervisory skills and interest in working with advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities
