About The Position

Legacy Health is recruiting outpatient physicians for our primary care clinics located in the Eastside of Portland, Oregon. Providers in these clinics include physicians and advanced practitioners, all of whom have been a part of Legacy for several years. Our primary care providers are supported by designated MA’s and care teams that can include panel coordinators, social workers, RN case managers, behavioral health clinicians, pharmacy techs and pharmacists. This is a 100% outpatient clinical practice with unmatched Epic/EHR support through our unique Super Thrive Program. The role involves dedicated, clinic-based nurse care management, social worker and behavioral health support, dedicated pharmacy support, and a dedicated panel coordinator to assist with patient outreach and care gap closure. Physicians will work in collaboration with a team of providers and maintain their own panel of patients, sharing call coverage for the clinic.

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Graduate of a four-year medical school or equivalent and completed internal or family medicine residency.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in internal or family medicine.
• Current Oregon state medical license and DEA certificate.
• Unrestricted Oregon medical license.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• No J1 or H-1B visa opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing clinical history
• Providing the physical examination
• Diagnosing and treating both chronic and episodic disorders
• Work in collaboration with the team
• Maintain own panel of patients
• Share call coverage for the clinic
