Part-Time Primary Care Physician
About The Position
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Primary Care Physician to join our team as a Variable Staffing Pool Physician on an as-needed basis. This is a zero-hour contracted role, ideal for providers looking for part-time work while contributing to high-quality outpatient care. The Physician will manage a variety of health-related concerns, focusing on continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. The Physician will provide outpatient primary care services to adult and geriatric populations. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date medical histories and records. You will manage moderately complex to complex medical conditions. You will refer patients to specialists. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. You will contribute to departmental strategy and quality improvement programs. You will work onsite in our outpatient clinics.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program.
- Active medical license in the state of jurisdiction.
- Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Must be passionate about improving patient experiences and outcomes.
- You will require participation in Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
- Specialty in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Med-Peds, or Geriatrics.
- Experience working with senior populations, value-based, or primary care models.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and digital documentation.
- Availability of at least three days per week
- Direct W-2 employment (not a 1099 position)
- Must be willing to travel between assigned clinic locations
Nice To Haves
- Preference for value-based care experience, or at least 2 years of caring for Geriatric patients with high acuities.
