About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician to join an established medical practice in Redding, California. This is a unique opportunity for a physician looking to build a long-term career within a well-established practice while serving a strong and loyal patient community. The incoming physician will have the opportunity to transition into an established practice with existing patient demand and work alongside an experienced physician and care team. With a planned long-term transition ahead, we are beginning our search early to identify the right physician and allow ample time for a thoughtful and successful transition. This opportunity offers a $400,000 salary guarantee and is ideal for a physician who values autonomy, continuity of care, and the opportunity to establish meaningful, long-term relationships with patients. We are open to physicians currently practicing in the United States as well as international physicians who are eligible to practice or pursue appropriate physician immigration/visa pathways in the U.S.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted California medical license
  • Strong clinical judgment and commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable caring for a diverse primary care patient population
  • Collaborative, dependable, and interested in becoming a long-term member of the practice and community
  • Physicians currently outside the U.S. may be considered depending on their ability to meet applicable U.S. and California licensing and immigration requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients across a broad range of acute and chronic conditions
  • Develop long-term relationships with patients and provide continuity of care
  • Perform routine examinations, preventive care, screenings, and health assessments
  • Diagnose and manage chronic conditions and coordinate care with specialists as needed
  • Review laboratory results, imaging, medications, and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and preventive health
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to provide an exceptional patient experience
  • Participate in a thoughtful transition designed to maintain continuity for an established patient population
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative, patient-centered practice culture
