About The Position
An established outpatient primary care practice in Vernon, Connecticut, is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician. This hospital-employed position offers a supportive practice environment, innovative technology, and an excellent work-life balance, allowing physicians to focus on delivering exceptional patient care. New graduates are encouraged to apply. The role is 100% outpatient, office-based primary care, caring for patients from birth through adulthood. It is a full-time, weekdays-only position with flexible scheduling, including an available 4-day/10-hour workweek option. The practice environment is modern and well-supported, with resources designed to improve physician satisfaction and patient outcomes. Practice support includes dedicated Medical Assistant and nursing support, integrated Behavioral Health services, High-Risk Nurse Care Managers and Social Workers, efficient workflows, and engaged clinical teams. Technology includes Epic EMR with Dragon voice recognition, Ambient AI-assisted clinical documentation, HIPAA-compliant messaging, and patient self-scheduling via an online portal.
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
