Primary Care Physician - Sign on Bonus
About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Primary Care Physician to provide high-quality, value-based care to an established panel of predominantly geriatric patients. The role focuses on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and developing meaningful, long-term patient relationships in a supportive, 100% outpatient environment. The physician will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary care model intended to improve patient outcomes, enhance access to care, and reduce unnecessary hospitalizations. Care emphasizes personalized plans, proactive health management, and patient education. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekends or hospital rounds. The organization describes its environment as physician-led and team-oriented, with an emphasis on quality over volume and robust clinical and administrative support.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Training in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Active Florida license.
- Current DEA registration.
- At least 3 years of experience in outpatient primary care.
- Strong clinical judgment focused on preventive and longitudinal care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to a team-based, patient-first care model.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Deliver preventive care, wellness visits, and health screenings, focusing on early intervention.
- Develop and manage individualized care plans for a predominantly geriatric population.
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners, care coordinators, and support staff to deliver seamless, patient-centered care.
- Use electronic health records (EHR) to document clinical encounters and track patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to continuous care enhancement.
- Educate patients and families about disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle choices.
