About The Position

Primary Health Partners (PHP) is seeking primary care physicians who desire the time, autonomy, and support to practice medicine as they originally envisioned. Founded by physicians who left traditional healthcare systems, PHP prioritizes the physician-patient relationship. Physicians typically spend 30 to 60 minutes with each patient, seeing six to 10 patients daily. Success is not measured by patient volume but by quality of care, with no insurance billing, production quotas, or pressure to rush. Clinical decisions are made collaboratively by physicians and patients. PHP is recruiting for current and future clinics in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metro areas and is open to discussing new clinic locations for the right physician and community. PHP provides the infrastructure and support for a successful transition into direct primary care, including a growing base of employer partners, dedicated business development and marketing teams, and operations and support teams to handle the business aspects.

Requirements

MD or DO degree
Board certified in family medicine, internal medicine, or internal medicine-pediatrics
Licensed in Oklahoma or eligible to obtain an Oklahoma medical license
Committed to comprehensive, relationship-based primary care
Curious, collaborative, and motivated to keep learning

Nice To Haves

Direct primary care experience is not required.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive, longitudinal care for patients of all ages.
Address prevention, chronic conditions, and the root causes of health concerns.
Make clinical decisions collaboratively with patients.
Utilize a user-friendly EMR and technology platform.
Potentially contribute to shaping new clinics, improving care delivery, or strengthening the DPC model.
