The Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) provides immediate treatment and transportation of sick and injured individuals to appropriate medical facilities. A high level of professionalism, communication, and knowledge is always expected due to the public nature of the role. Paramedics are required to conduct themselves safely and discreetly, with responsibility for justifying their conduct to patients, family members, hospital staff, management, public agencies, and legal courts. Requirements

  • Current Resume and Cover Letter
  • Current PEI Paramedic License
  • Current CPR card
  • Copy of diploma/degree
  • Class 4 Driver's License; must be fully graduated/unrestricted
  • Driver's abstract; issued within the last 90 days
  • Valid Driver's course certificate (CEVO); issued within the last 2 years
  • Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check; issued within the last 90 days
  • Confirmation of HEP. B vaccination
