About The Position

Associated Ambulance is seeking expressions of interest for a Permanent Full-Time Primary Care Paramedic position in Sylvan Lake, Alberta. Associated Ambulance is the second-largest ambulance operator in the province, serving Albertans for over 40 years with both Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) services across 24 rural communities. This permanent position operates on a 12-hour schedule with a rotation of four (4) days on (two days and two nights), followed by four (4) days off. As a member of the team, you will contribute to the shared commitment to quality care, patient safety, and employee well-being, aligning with the Core Values and Strategic Direction of Associated Ambulance.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) program.
• Active registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACoP) as a PCP.
• Current Basic Life Support – Healthcare Provider (BLS-HCP) certification.
• Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator’s License with a clean driving abstract (abstract must show no serious traffic safety violations and will be requested).
• Successful completion of the Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation (F.A.R.E.) within six (6) months prior to the start date.
• Ability to commit fully to the full-time schedule—please disclose any potential conflicts in your Expression of Interest (EOI).
