Primary Care PA-C or ARNP
About The Position
Olympic Medical Physicians is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Primary Care team in Port Angeles or Sequim, Washington. The position is exclusively outpatient and provides person-centered primary care to rural patients in collaboration with family medicine physicians and a multidisciplinary team. The practice offers a four-day work week, rotating telephone-only call, robust RN support, Care Navigators, integrated Behavioral Health, access to local consultants within a multispecialty group, and an integrated EPIC electronic health record system connected with local and regional hospital systems. The position is eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program, subject to individual eligibility requirements.
Requirements
- Graduate of a physician assistant program and certified by Washington State, or hold a Master of Science in Nursing, Master of Nursing, or equivalent Nurse Practitioner degree.
- Maintain appropriate continuing medical education credits per Washington State and OMC Medical Staff requirements.
- Current Washington State RN and ARNP licenses with prescriptive authority, or current Washington State PA-C licensure and prescriptive authority.
- Maintain current DEA registration.
- Maintain current BLS or ACLS certification.
- Maintain appropriate privileges and membership on the OMC Medical Staff.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of prior primary care experience is preferred but not required.
- Buprenorphine waiver is preferred but not required.
