About The Position

Infinite Medical P.C. is hiring a full-time Primary Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide on-site primary care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in Roswell, New Mexico. The role is intended for a provider who values meaningful patient relationships and collaborative care. Infinite Medical P.C. is a nationwide network of advanced practice providers and specialty clinicians working with MedElite Healthcare Management Group to provide proactive, compassionate, and personalized care to residents. The position is scheduled four days per week. The job description notes physical demands including prolonged standing and walking, occasional lifting up to 20 pounds, computer work, lifting or moving patients, and prolonged sitting.

Requirements

Hold an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
Have a state-specific license in good standing in New Mexico.
Have at least six months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility.
Demonstrate strong communication, clinical, and critical-thinking skills.
Have a passion for elder care and person-centered healthcare.

Responsibilities

Provide primary care services to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.
Perform physical examinations and medical history assessments.
Diagnose and treat chronic and acute health conditions.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
Develop and adjust individualized care plans.
Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
Collaborate with facility staff and interdisciplinary teams.
Educate patients and families about treatment options and care goals.
Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents.
