About The Position

Dignity Health Medical Group Bakersfield seeks Experienced Advanced Practice Providers! As our Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will join Dignity Health Medical Group – Bakersfield, a multispecialty group within Dignity Health Medical Foundation, in Bakersfield, California. You will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive primary care within a collaborative and compassionate environment where every patient story matters. You will practice within a 100% outpatient model, working alongside tenured and respected Internists and Family Medicine physicians. This role offers an exceptionally desirable work-life balance with one convenient location, no holidays, no weekends, and no extended hours, allowing you to prioritize personal time and enjoy long weekends, family dinners, and the freedom to explore life beyond the clinic. To be successful in this role, you will be a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least 9 months of Primary Care or other ambulatory clinical experience. You will be eager to practice in a setting that values collaboration and offers a competitive total compensation package, affordable real estate, excellent school options, and close proximity to Los Angeles and Central California for easy getaways. We are offering a competitive earnings package with compensation ranging from $140,000 – $150,000. This includes a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. Requirements

  • Active or eligible license in the state of California
  • Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare)
  • Completion of state mandated educational courses
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • At least one year of clinical experience
  • Full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • At least 9 months of Primary Care or other ambulatory clinical experience
