About The Position

The Nurse Practitioner Primary Care works in collaboration with the physician in the outpatient setting (primary care offices or clinics including family medicine, women's health and internal medicine). Performs minimally invasive procedures, and generally works with a stable patient population. As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties. Requirements

• Associate's Degree (Required)
• AANP - American Association of Nurse Practitioners - American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board
• CNP - Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board
• COA - Certificate of Authority as CNS - State of Ohio
• RN - Registered Nurse
• AANP - American Association of Nurse Practitioners
• CNP - Certified Nurse Practitioner
• APRN
• CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
• Field of Study: Nursing
• Years of Experience 3 to 5

Responsibilities

• Works under direction and in consultation/collaboration with physician.
• Assesses and evaluates patients, H&Ps, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, etc.
• Assists in diagnostic and invasive procedures.
• Pre-operative and post-operative care, writes orders, discharges, etc.
• Promotes quality outcomes and initiatives.
• Must have a standard care arrangement SC a with a physician in like practice APRN responsible for notifying the Ohio Board of Nursing g .
• Practices within applicable state laws, appropriate boards, and in accordance with his/her standard care arrangement and delineation of privileges.
