About The Position

Pricing Team Supervisor is responsible for supporting pricing strategy execution, carrier and supplier coordination, and customer RFQ/tender activities for the Company's freight forwarding and logistics business. This role works closely with Sales, Procurement, Operations, and external service providers to develop timely and competitive solutions across ocean, air, and LCL services. The Supervisor will be responsible for preparing pricing proposals, coordinating carrier quotations, supporting tender submissions, maintaining market intelligence, and assisting in the execution of pricing initiatives that contribute to business growth and customer acquisition. The position requires strong analytical, commercial, and relationship management skills while supporting the overall objectives of the Pricing Team.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding and logistics services, including Ocean (FCL/LCL), Air Freight, and related transportation solutions.
  • Experience in pricing, quotations, RFQ/RFP processes, carrier coordination, or logistics procurement within the freight forwarding, NVOCC, or logistics industry.
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills with the ability to evaluate pricing, profitability, market conditions, and customer requirements.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with ocean and air carriers, NVOCCs, consolidators, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively support Sales, Procurement, Operations, and customers.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-8 years of related experience

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, analyze, and maintain customer pricing proposals for Ocean (FCL/LCL), Air Freight, and related logistics services.
  • Coordinate pricing requests with ocean carriers, air carriers/forwarders/agents, consolidators, and service providers.
  • Ensure pricing submissions are accurate, competitive, and aligned with company guidelines.
  • Support the preparation, coordination, and submission of customer RFQs, RFPs, and tender opportunities.
  • Work with Sales, Procurement, and Operations teams to gather required information and develop customer solutions.
  • Maintain RFQ and tender records, timelines, and supporting documentation.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with ocean carriers, air carrier/forwarders, other NVOCCs, consolidators, and other logistics suppliers.
  • Obtain and evaluate carrier quotations, service offerings, capacity availability, and market updates.
  • Support carrier performance reviews and supplier management activities.
  • Provide pricing guidance and commercial support to Sales teams pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Assist in developing solution proposals, cost models, and profitability analyses for prospective customers.
  • Participate in customer meetings and commercial discussions when required.
  • Monitor freight market conditions, carrier developments, industry trends, and pricing movements.
  • Prepare pricing analyses, market reports, and management updates to support business decisions.
  • Maintain pricing databases, rate files, and related commercial information.
  • Support the development and maintenance of pricing procedures, tender management processes, and business documentation.
  • Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Operations, Finance, IT, and HQ teams on pricing initiatives, system enhancements, and special projects.
  • Ensure pricing activities comply with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain organized records of quotations, contracts, and tender submissions.
  • Support onboarding and training activities for new team members.
  • Share market intelligence, carrier updates, and best practices across the organization.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives, business analyses, and other assignments as directed by management.
