About The Position

This position is responsible for effectively optimizing pricing over the life cycle of aftermarket parts including the Engine and Powertrain components in order to maximize revenue, sales velocity, sales volume and margin, and support overall product, dealer and customer objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in analyzing large amounts of data to assess current trends, propose pricing strategies and model financial impacts. Examples of projects include market research, modeling pricing elasticity, testing new pricing strategies, and modeling revenue and profit impacts, while aligning with cross-functional departments like Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain,Marketing and AM Digital Experience.

Requirements

  • Advance Microsoft Excel skills (pivot, v-lookup, if-statement)
  • Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision required
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to present recommendations
  • Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with other teams
  • SQL/SAS/STATA/ programming experience
  • Ability to use Power BI tools
  • Ability to develop, and use Tableau

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pricing methodologies and strategies
  • Ability to perform quantitative analysis using large datasets
  • Python programming experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Finance, Mathematics or related discipline)
  • Experience in AM Export business process

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research in order to accurately assess the market price position and trends
  • Analyze product profitability including cost to serve, profit margin, volume based price discount structures and profitability thresholds
  • Propose pricing recommendations using data analysis and market research, and develop financial models to quantify financial impacts
  • Prepare and present key findings to internal stakeholders
  • Manage and administer the assigned parts segments within the pricing tool in order to execute pricing recommendations
  • Ensure the timely and accurate development and maintenance of DTNA’s Aftermarket Price Releases
  • Work cross functionally with internal departments as well as external stakeholders to ensure inputs are accurately incorporated in the pricing strategy
  • Resolve pricing issues, discrepancies and questions
  • Continuously identify areas for improvement in pricing processes, policies, procedures, systems and training
  • Manage Pricing tickets through Aftermarket Parts Communication (APC) inquiries to support customers
