Pricing & Revenue Management Analyst

OC Sports & EntertainmentAnaheim, CA
Onsite

About The Position

The Pricing & Revenue Management Analyst is responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies across OCVIBE venues to maximize ticket revenue, sell-through, and overall event performance. This role analyzes historical sales, market comparables, demand signals, and inventory trends to establish and adjust pricing throughout the event lifecycle. The Analyst also builds and maintains dynamic pricing models, dashboards, and reporting tools; manages inventory and presale allocations; and translates complex pricing data into clear recommendations for promoters, Finance, and venue leadership. The role combines revenue management, quantitative analysis, and business intelligence, leveraging SQL, Python, Power BI/Tableau, and AI-enabled tools to support timely, data-driven pricing decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2–5 years of experience in ticket pricing, revenue management, or a related quantitative analytics role
  • Advanced SQL and working knowledge of Python — comfortable building and maintaining warehouse views others rely on
  • Statistics applied in practice: forecasting, demand modeling, and price optimization — with the ability to explain results to non-technical stakeholders
  • End-to-end experience with Power BI and/or Tableau reporting (including data modeling and designing reports) for Executive leadership
  • Excellent Excel proficiency and strong attention to detail in data validation and reporting
  • AI-native: treats AI-assisted tooling as a genuine productivity multiplier, not a novelty

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in live entertainment, sports, or hospitality preferred
  • Working knowledge of ticketing platforms (Ticketmaster Archtics or equivalent) is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Own event-by-event pricing strategy for inventory of multiple venues — from initial on-sale pricing through dynamic adjustments across the event lifecycle
  • Analyze historical sales, comparable-show performance, and secondary market data to set and adjust pricing across seating categories, tiers, and packages
  • Manage inventory holds, presale allocations, and outlet distribution to maximize revenue and sell-through across every show
  • Build and maintain dynamic pricing models that respond to real-time demand signals — page views, sales velocity, and market comparables
  • Define, track, and report KPIs — average ticket price, sell-through rate, market share, tickets sold by price level, and year-over-year comparisons — to measure pricing performance
  • Build and maintain actionable Power BI dashboards that give finance and venue leadership a trusted, self-serve view of pricing and sales performance
  • Validate and maintain SQL-based data pipelines and warehouse views that pricing decisions depend on
  • Translate pricing data into clear, defensible recommendations for non-technical key stakeholders, such as promoters and venue leadership
  • Apply AI and LLM-powered tooling to accelerate demand analysis and pricing recommendations
