About The Position

The Pricing Program Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the Company’s end-to-end price change process resulting from index fluctuations, contractual adjustments, and other pricing drivers. This role serves as the central point of coordination between Customer Accounts, Purchasing, Accounting, Finance, Projects, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely, accurate, and effective execution of vendor and customer price changes. The successful candidate will own the project lifecycle from initial identification of a pricing change through implementation, including data validation, internal coordination, preparation of vendor and customer communications, system updates, and post-implementation review. This individual must be highly organized, detail-oriented, persistent, and skilled at managing multiple priorities across various departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in project management, pricing, operations, supply chain, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate activities across multiple departments.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to follow up effectively and persistently drive completion of assigned tasks.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including: Data analysis, Pivot tables, Lookups (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), Tracking and reporting tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively influence teams without direct authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing pricing processes, cost changes, or contract-based pricing adjustments.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional projects.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, such as Sage (MAS 100).
  • Salesforce experience a plus
  • Experience creating process documentation and workflow improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the complete price change process from initiation through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, and action plans to ensure pricing changes are implemented according to established deadlines.
  • Coordinate activities across Purchasing, Accounting, Finance, Projects, Sales, Customer Service, and other impacted departments.
  • Monitor progress, identify potential delays or roadblocks, and proactively drive resolution.
  • Maintain accurate status reporting and provide updates to management regarding open price change initiatives.
  • Monitor the publications our pricing is contractually tied to.
  • Coordinate the preparation and issuance of vendor and customer price change notifications.
  • Ensure communications accurately reflect approved pricing adjustments, effective dates, supporting documentation, and contractual requirements.
  • Work closely with Customer Accounts, Purchasing and Sales teams to address questions, exceptions, or customer/vendor concerns.
  • Maintain documentation and records supporting all price changes.
  • Review index movements and pricing calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Partner with Purchasing and Finance teams to validate pricing impacts.
  • Prepare Excel-based reports, tracking tools, and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Maintain pricing databases, trackers, and historical records.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the price change process, increase efficiency, and reduce errors.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists, and workflow documentation.
  • Assist in implementing tools and processes to improve visibility and accountability.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to pricing operations.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including approvals, communications, calculations, and implementation records.
  • Manage multiple price change projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Keep contract and pricing records aligned across Salesforce, the ERP, an SharePoint so one customer means one record everywhere.
  • Escalate unresolved issues and recommend solutions when appropriate.
