About The Position

The Pricing/Marketing Manager will serve as the primary authority for all questions related to pricing and products. This role involves analyzing input-cost data, recommending surcharge rates and potential base price adjustments, and managing customer-specific pricing agreements. The manager will also review product offerings, develop pricing strategies, identify new product opportunities, and maintain contractual documents. Additionally, this position may involve acting as a Project Manager for new business opportunities or cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Engineering, Marketing, Business, or Operations).
  • Minimum 4 years overall business experience, including Marketing/Product Management or Manufacturing Operational/Analytical experience.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong Excel skills required.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts in a concise, understandable way to diverse audiences.
  • Developed financial literacy and strong business acumen.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively toward corporate or department goals.
  • Ability to lead through influence in nontraditional organizational structures.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with a metal fabrication company preferred.
  • SAP or similar ERP database experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to customers, vendors, and operational facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary authority for all questions related to pricing and products.
  • Analyze input-cost data and recommend quarterly surcharge rates and potential base price adjustments.
  • Provide strategies to manage pricing for individual customers within SAP capabilities.
  • Manage customer-specific pricing agreements, including quarterly adjustments and compliance reviews.
  • Ensure pricing aligns with all contract terms and company standards.
  • Review product offerings and develop pricing strategies, including price points, quantity breaks, and scenario modeling.
  • Identify and evaluate new product opportunities that enhance company offerings and profit margins.
  • Support cross-functional teams in product and pricing strategy initiatives.
  • Maintain contractual documents within CRM/OneDrive for visibility across departments.
  • Potentially act as Project Manager for new business opportunities or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Leverage project management tools to ensure timely execution of deliverables.
