About The Position

The Pricing Manager leads Vistar’s Corporate Pricing function, ensuring customer agreements, contracts, and pricing strategies are executed accurately. The role oversees pricing operations, governance, systems, and team performance. It is responsible for contract administration, pricing audits, discrepancy resolution, and vendor funding matters that protect profitability and support customer and supplier relationships. The candidate must be local to Denver; out-of-state candidates will not be considered.

Requirements

Must be local to Denver; out-of-state candidates will not be considered.
Minimum of 5 years of purchasing, pricing, finance, or related experience.
At least 1 year of management experience.
Knowledge of pricing philosophies and promotions.
Knowledge of contracts and cost-plus programs.
Experience in the distribution industry.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related area.

Responsibilities

Manage the Corporate Pricing team, including priorities, workload, performance, and operational controls.
Ensure the accuracy, maintenance, and governance of pricing data and structures, and ensure pricing decisions are supported by reliable information.
Oversee and monitor customer pricing agreements and programs to ensure compliance with contractual commitments and internal pricing policies.
Lead customer, supplier, and internal audits, ensuring contract compliance and resolution of audit findings.
Ensure supplier cost and program changes are accurately reflected in pricing and margins.
Investigate and resolve supplier funding and pricing disputes.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to implement pricing strategies.
Identify enhancements to pricing systems, data structures, workflows, reporting capabilities, and automation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Comply with all policies and standards.
