About The Position

Team Air Distributing is seeking a strategic, hands-on Pricing Manager to lead and elevate our pricing function into a key driver of margin growth, speed, and customer trust. This role oversees pricing strategy, systems, data, and team development—ensuring accurate, efficient, and scalable pricing operations across the business.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in pricing, finance, or revenue management
  • 2+ years of leadership experience managing and developing teams
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency
  • Experience building processes, SOPs, or improving workflows
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights and business decisions
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC or wholesale distribution experience
  • Experience with Salesforce (CPQ preferred), Infor CSD, or BI tools (Phocas)
  • Background in rebate programs, contract pricing, or distribution pricing models
  • Exposure to automation tools (Power Query, Power Automate, AI tools)
  • Lean/Six Sigma or process improvement experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Pricing team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture
  • Own pricing strategy, governance, and execution aligned with company margin and sales goals
  • Build and standardize pricing processes (quotes, contracts, rebates, and pricing data)
  • Establish KPIs and reporting to improve performance (margin, quote speed, accuracy, etc.)
  • Drive automation and system improvements (Salesforce, ERP, BI tools, Excel, AI)
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, IT, and Purchasing
  • Ensure pricing accuracy, compliance, and rebate optimization
  • Act as the escalation point for complex pricing decisions and customer impacts
