We are seeking a Pricing Manager to play a highly visible and strategic role in shaping and executing the global pricing strategy for Emerson Professional Tools. In this role, you will partner with cross‑functional teams including Sales, Product Management, Finance, Marketing, and IT to support margin expansion and drive profitable growth through data‑backed pricing decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in pricing, finance, analytics, or commercial strategy.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively across cross‑functional teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Domo.
  • MBA or other advanced business degree.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Americas pricing strategy, considering competitive dynamics, price elasticity, material inflation, and market conditions.
  • Lead the development and execution of pricing actions, including price modeling, margin analysis, and cross‑functional alignment.
  • Provide strategic oversight of the PROAction Channel Pricing Program and Marketing Development Funds (MDF), including policy guidance, program tracking, and approval of funding requests.
  • Deliver strategic pricing analyses, including pocket price analysis, price impact modeling, and key account pricing support.
  • Manage pricing communications, including price letters, price books, and price files for channel partners.
  • Oversee global pricing governance, including pricing rules and systems within JD Edwards, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.
  • Evaluate proposed sales and marketing promotions from a pricing and margin perspective.
  • Provide pricing guidance and analytics to global subsidiaries to support aligned and harmonized pricing strategies.
  • Lead and develop the pricing analytics team to build scalable tools, strengthen insights, and enhance pricing capabilities across the organization.
