About The Position

To hire an energetic individual to be responsible for the implementation of strategic, tactical, and operational pricing initiative, and promotions to grow our rapidly expanding grocery business. Pricing Manager develops best practice pricing strategies that align with the market dynamics and business objectives, driving revenue growth and profitability. Pricing Manager plays a vital role in setting product pricing, discounts, and promotions to attract customers while maintaining profitability.

Requirements

Possess excellent oral and written communication, organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking skills.
Able to lead a team and motivate its members to perform at the best of their abilities.
Able to collaborate with other support groups and form strong partnerships.
Demonstrate flexibility, initiative, good judgment, a sense of urgency and a strong attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) and other Power Bi type software or web-based reporting applications.
Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be able to manage constant organizational changes.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Have strong attention to detail.
Ability to create, analyse, interpret, and report analysis results.

Possess a strong understanding of pricing strategies and concepts.
Analyze pricing data from industry standards, previous sales trends and competitors and report data to decision makers.

Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of appropriate industry related experience.

Responsibilities

Serve our store operations teams by providing merchandising plans which are clearly communicated and executable.
Professionally collaborate and communicate with both internal and external business partners.
Developing and implementing pricing strategies that enhance profitability.
Working closely with other teams to closely track movements in costs.
Monitoring and reporting on pricing performance and competitiveness.
Analysing price change requests from the sales team by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels
Assist in creating promotional campaigns and conducting pricing optimization and cost-benefit analysis.
Developing pricing proposals for new products and services
Tracking market trends and keeping up to date on prices set by competitors.
Collaborating with product, sales, and finance teams on pricing decisions
Staying updated with pricing best practices and market dynamics
Work with various Price Optimization programs.
