The Pricing Coordinator is responsible for working closely with all Pricing associates, vendor partners, the Guest Service Manager, Store Directors, and Festival team members to ensure all company policies and procedures are being followed. This role provides controlled processes and procedures to ensure department goals and objectives are being obtained. The Pricing Coordinator reinforces Festival culture, customer service, and performance expectations to all pricing associates, and provides consistent practices within the pricing software that supports Festival Foods' price image. They investigate and resolve inaccuracies, respond with clear and honest feedback, and maintain adequate staff levels by interviewing applicants and extending job offers when necessary. This role involves coaching and training all new pricing associates on policies and procedures, including SMS pricing software, pricing handhelds, and Nexgen 365. The Pricing Coordinator is an active participant in Performance and Development Summary and annual goal setting for themselves and the pricing team. They communicate and collaborate with the Pricing Support Team to keep the pricing manual and sign program current, finalize and approve weekly work schedules for pricing associates, and write and execute weekly department schedules based on department needs. This role also involves documenting violations of company policies/procedures, conducting corrective action, and holding department managers and vendors accountable for meeting pricing standards. They work directly with department managers and Store Directors to ensure Standard Operating Plans are executed, review verification results weekly to identify gaps, and address incorrect stocking issues. The Pricing Coordinator also assists guests on the sales floor, addresses guest concerns, and contributes to the overall cleanliness of the department. Regular, timely attendance is required.
