About The Position

The Pricing and Products Specialist works with other Pricing & Product Group members, operations departments, vendors, and branches to support cost and pricing changes and troubleshoot related issues. The role maintains cost files and vendor contacts, researches vendor costs, assists branches with cost, pricing, and margin questions, and supports product data maintenance and organization. It also generates reports for cost and price updates and produces ad hoc pricing and product reports. The position performs other duties as directed by the Pricing & Product Manager.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective branch and vendor relationships.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work quickly and efficiently.
• Clear oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• MS Access.
• Knowledge of exterior building products.
• Familiarity with SX.e or a similar ERP.

Responsibilities

• Generate data reports to assist with cost and price updates.

• Research and track down costs from vendors.
• Field questions from branches about costs, pricing, and margins.
• Assist with product data maintenance and organization.
• Produce ad hoc pricing and product reports as needed.
