About The Position

The Pricing and Product Specialist works with members of the Pricing & Product Group, operations departments, vendors, and branches. The role focuses on supporting cost and pricing changes and troubleshooting issues related to those changes. It also supports product data maintenance and responds to branch questions about costs, pricing, and margins.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with branches and vendors.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work quickly and efficiently.
• Clear oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• MS Access.
• Knowledge of exterior building products.
• Familiarity with SX.e or a similar ERP.

Responsibilities

• Generate data reports to assist with cost and price updates.
• Maintain cost files and vendor contacts.
• Research and obtain cost information from vendors.
• Respond to branch questions about costs, pricing, and margins.
• Assist with product data maintenance and organization.
• Produce ad hoc pricing and product reports as needed.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Pricing & Product Manager.
