About The Position

The Pricing Analyst will serve a critical role of partnering with the sales, pricing, and purchasing functional areas to improve communication, collaboration, data accuracy, and process efficiency. The Pricing Analyst will be an analytical thought contributor and advisor on customer acquisition and strategic growth initiatives. The Pricing Analyst will be involved in the set-up, maintenance, and improvement of our pricing data and will be looked to as we continue to grow our business into additional product categories.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in an analytical data role
• Expert in analyzing data, identifying trends, summarizing findings, providing recommendations and can demonstrate quantitative decision-making skills.
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
• Experience in MS, SQL, Excel, Access, or other data visualization tools.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in SAP, SAP 4HANA, et al.
• BS/BA in business, finance, statistics, computer science, information systems, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Creative problem solving, process optimization, and operational support.
• Assist and be a strategic advisor to sales, marketing, and purchasing functional areas.
• Analyzing and combining large data sets from various sources to develop insights into pricing strategies and trends.
• Analyzing Competitor offerings and pricing to increase sales and profit.
• Develop process improvements to improve data availability for business unit leaders.
• Proactively uncover timely and accurate insights into Parts Town’s most influential customers, vendors, and partner with decision makers to maximize growth and profitability.
• Facilitate ad hoc data-needs for strategic company initiatives
