The Pricing Analyst will develop and maintain optimized customer pricing quotes by analyzing data from multiple sources to support business growth while maximizing profitability and competitiveness. They will manage and maintain pricing systems, tools, and pricing administration processes while ensuring effective deployment of corporate pricing strategies. This role involves analyzing competitor pricing, market trends, vendor costs, and sales feedback to support pricing recommendations and maintain a competitive market position. The analyst will execute corporate pricing strategies, evaluate pricing performance, and recommend adjustments to support business objectives and large account acquisition opportunities. They will also partner with Contract Analysts to maintain knowledge of chargeback processes and active contracts, applying insights to pricing analysis and recommendations. Maintaining the integrity of pricing data across systems and databases, regularly reviewing pricing records and generating reports and insights to measure pricing effectiveness and protect margins is key. The role includes creating, managing, and reviewing customer sales plans and pricing structures, recommending updates to align with evolving business requirements. Generating insights and recommendations to support Corporate Brand conversion opportunities through sales analysis and reporting, and partnering with Branch Managers, Sales Managers, Field Sales Consultants, and internal stakeholders to provide pricing expertise, system support, and resolution of pricing-related inquiries are also responsibilities. Collaboration with business leaders and technical support teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, workflow optimization, and pricing automation, and delivering accurate and timely work while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and Worldwide Business Standards are expected.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in pricing, marketing, finance, analytics, or a related business function
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to interpret and communicate data-driven insights
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with SQL and exposure to Python, R, or SAS considered an asset
