About The Position

LexisNexis Legal & Professional, part of RELX, is seeking a customer-centric and data-driven Pricing Analyst to implement pricing strategy within the Small Law Business Segment. This hybrid role requires weekly office presence in Miamisburg, Ohio on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The analyst will be responsible for responding to pricing inquiries, developing a deep understanding of products, and guiding customer decision-making. Key activities include proposal creation, deal approval, and contracting. The company is a leader in deploying AI and advanced technologies in the legal market, with over 2,000 technologists, data scientists, and experts developing ethical and powerful generative AI solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business, Finance or related field
Solid mathematical aptitude and comfort with numbers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to solve routine problems
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage large sets of information and data
Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish mutual team goals
Ability to manage to key deadlines and balance competing priorities

Responsibilities

Responding to pricing inquiries and guiding decision-making by developing a deep knowledge of our product
Collecting, analyzing and reconciling discrepancies between data, documents and information in order to create initial proposals
Collaborating with internal teams to secure renewal targets, understand upsell paths and defend against price reductions
Assisting Segment Managers with deal approval by providing pricing guidance, bench marking data and confirming selling rules
Completing the business terms in contracts and coordinates contract modifications with Segment, Sales and Legal teams
Responding to transactional pricing and cost recovery questions
Analyzing pricing data and makes recommendations to more senior level roles to influence pricing strategy
