About The Position

Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Pricing Analyst to join their growing team. This role is crucial in shaping the company's pricing strategies by analyzing market data, contract terms, and cost structures to ensure profitable growth. The Pricing Analyst will collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance to develop pricing models, assess contract profitability, and support strategic pricing decisions across residential, commercial, and municipal business lines. A minimum of 5 years of pricing, financial, or analytical experience, preferably in waste management, environmental services, or a similar asset-intensive, route-based industry, is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear business recommendations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in waste management, environmental services, logistics, or another route-based, asset-intensive industry strongly preferred
  • Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and familiarity with SQL, a plus
  • Experience working with ERP, route, or billing systems is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain pricing models for residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal waste service contracts
  • Analyze cost drivers — labor, fuel, disposal/tipping fees, equipment — to ensure pricing supports margin targets
  • Evaluate contract profitability and flag underperforming accounts for repricing or renegotiation
  • Partner with Sales and Operations to price new business, RFPs, and municipal bids
  • Monitor competitor pricing and market trends across service areas
  • Support annual price increase initiatives, including CPI, fuel, and environmental surcharge calculations
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track pricing performance and margin trends
  • Conduct ad hoc financial and pricing analysis to support leadership decision-making
  • Ensure pricing structures comply with contract terms, regulatory requirements, and company policy
