About The Position

A. Duie Pyle, a family-owned business since 1924, offers integrated transportation and distribution solutions throughout the Northeast. Supported by a vast network of Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) service centers, warehouse facilities, and dedicated locations, the company provides flexible and seamless integrated solutions tailored to customer needs. The Pricing Analyst will work closely with the Sales team, Yield Management, Terminal Managers, and Senior Management, acting as the recipient of pricing requests and providing analytical support for pricing proposals. This role involves preparing proposals for internal review and approval, sending them to customers and Sales, and communicating with relevant sales, pricing, and operations resources.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent
• Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments with specific deadlines
• Ability to interface effectively with customers and internal departments
• Self-motivated and highly organized
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous LTL Pricing experience
• Transportation, logistics, customer service, sales, and or rates experience is encouraged, not required

Responsibilities

• Receiving and analyzing all pricing requests (Bids, New Business Request and Modifications) submitted
• Collecting and analyzing appropriate support data to submit pricing requests to the pricing committee as required
• Submitting proposals to customers and sales within required time frame
• Maintaining accurate reporting of all pricing activities including maintaining and updating SalesForce
• Coordinating with sales field to prepare pricing analysis for management review
• Representing the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices
